Mr. Daniels said that the official who was going explain this report requested to be excused because of a fire incident that he had to attend to in his place. He further explained that the transport department is preparing for the roll out all the way to Khayelitsha. There is some of the equipment of the bridge to do soil testing which is part of the roll out, there will be a road closure notifying Subcouncil, in May there will be a public participation process.

Cllr Ngxumza noted the report and said that it should also be noted that there will be a public participation process where they will engage with the official.

The chairperson requested for the official to be invited in the Activity day before the next Subcouncil meeting to present the programme to know further about the programme and be able to answer to the community.

There was unanimous agreement with the resolution.

That the report BE NOTED and Subcouncil will be involved in the public participation process.
