RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that:
 

1. 
   Subcouncil 23 does not support the proposed lease of City land, being a portion of portion 6, Cape Farm No. 705 and public Street portion of Cape Farm 705, Philippi, Varkensvlei Road, Y-Waste Solutions for the following reasons:

1. The report does not provide a clear explanation of monies paid to the Council for the duration of lease whilst the property was occupied by Y-Waste;.

1. There is no community hall in the PHA that serves the community and the erf occupied by Y-Waste is the only city owned property that served as a community hall prior to the occupation of Y-Waste.

1. The land is zoned for Agricultural Use and the current activity being proposed is in contravention of the zoning.
