Resolution detail

Mr. Daniels said that the report for Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) implementation progress for the period 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2020 for the 2020/2021 financial year.

Cllr Zondani asked whether the report is only for Urban Management and also if all other projects are part of this report including the Green Job Project.

Mr. Daniels said that report is a City wide overview for its performance on the EPWP he further said that on the monthly Subcouncil report there is a breakdown of all the projects as it relates to the Subcouncil.

Director Solomons said that those jobs do not appear as the Subcouncil did an indirectly employment via tender in getting a service provider to facilitate the projects it will not be accounted as it is not an EPWP employment.

Cllr Zondani said that the report need to be clear.

Cllr Manata noted the report.

Cllr Zondani seconded.

The was unanimous agreement with the resolution.

RESOLVED

That the Report on Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) Implementation and Progress for the Period 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2020 for the 2020/2021 Financial Year BE NOTED with the comments made by the Cllrs.
