As previously mentioned, Lukannon Drive is owned and managed by Recreation and Parks. I am therefore unable to provide comments regarding the closure of this road. See attached email clarifying the confusion of ownership and responsibility.

   Cllr Elton Jansen is in the process of formulating a report to motivate to the Roads and Stormwater Department to take ownership of the section of road, and in so doing, comment on the proposal for closure of the road after sunset.

   That Chairperson, Cllr Elton Jansen report back to the next meeting about the response from Mayco Member Ald Purchase, to his proposal for Roads and Infrastructure to take ownership of Lukannon Drive.

   Cllr Elton Jansen will engage the matter with the Mayor.

   The matter is with the newly appointed Mayoral Committee Member for Transport, Cllr Roberto Quintas.

   That Chairperson, Cllr Elton Jansen, reports back to the Subcouncil about his consultation with Mayco Member, Cllr Roberto Quintas, about his proposal for the intersections of Nautilus Road/ Lukannon Drive Bayview and Weltevreden Road/ Luknnon Drive Rocklands.

   Cllr Jansen awaits a response from the Mayco Member, Cllr Quintas.

   The motion be, submitted to Urban Mobility Directorate to investigate the possibilities of the after- hour closure of Nautilus Road/Lukanon Drive and Weltevreden/Lukanon Drive.

   The motion be submitted to the Roads Infrastructure Department to provide comment on the closure after sunset of Nautilus/Lukanon and Weltevreden/Lukanon Roads
