ESOLVED TO RECOMMEND
 
Subcouncil 20 supports the recommendation that the lease of City Land, being Erf 66942 Cape Town, situated at 16 Wellington Street, Wynberg, shown hatched on the attached aerial photograph marked “annexure A” in extent approximately 433m², to Ahmed Dahir Hassan, be approved subject to inter alia the following Conditions:
 

1.  A market rental of R8 500.00 per month, inclusive of rates and excluding VAT  

2. The rental will escalate at 6% per annum;

3. The lease will endure for a period of three years;

4. The property to be used for residential purposes only;

5. The rental is exclusive of all municipal services i.e water and electricity;

6. Subject to such further Conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

7. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;

8. No compensation will be payable for any improvements made to the property;

1. The lease is to ensure that the necessary land use permissions, if applicable, are in place for the duration of the lease period.
