Subcouncil 24 supports the recommendation that:
It is RECOMMENDED that the motion submitted by Ald Stuart Pringle BE SUPPORTED and that the City provide an update regarding the medium to longer term initiatives proposed to deal with the regular sewage spills in The Sir Lowry’s Pass and Mission Grounds areas, particular around Brinkhuis Street.
In particular, the City is requested to detail what initiatives have been undertaken over the past 5 years in terms of infrastructure upgrades; construction of additional infrastructure such as sand traps, repairs and replacement of infrastructure and what amounts have been budgeted and spent on such initiatives. |

The Chairperson stated that he is unable to get hold of Larry Cronje in order for him to provide feedback.
RESOLVED
That Chairperson will take up the matter with Pierre Maritz on the progress made with the camera inspection of the sewerage spills in Sir Lowry’s pass.
That the item REMAINS on the MRA’s.

MATTERS RECEIVING ATTENTION FOR WARDS 15 AND 84
The Subcouncil Manager explained that Ward 15 and 84 was previously part of Subcouncil 24 and therefore all the matters receiving attention was carried over to Subcouncil 8. Cllr Peck and McFarlane, the ward councillors of ward 15 and 84 said that these matters could be dealt with directly with the line departments at a separate meeting that will be arranged by the Subcouncil office therefore it be proposed that the Matters Receiving for Wards 15 and 84 be closed.
RESOLVED
That all the matters receiving attention relating to Wards 15 and 84, BE CLOSED.
