MATTERS ARISING FROM MINUTES: 21 OCTOBER 2020
Cllr Achmat asked Cllr Moses if he was in contact with the Office of the Speaker pertaining to the disgruntled ward members. Cllr Moses informed the members that he has not been in contact to Office of Speaker as yet. The Subcouncil Manager invited the people to a workshop, and they did not respond to the invite. He said he asked one of the ward committee members to raise a formal complaint. He said that the Mayor has met with the disgruntled members to listen to the challenges and complaints. Cllr Moses said he informed the Mayor that some of the members have court orders against them and he that he cannot be in contravention of the court order.
Ms Yoliswa Gogela of AED submitted a report pertaining to the Gatesville Precinct and she will articulate on the matter under MRA item 11SUB12/11/20
