Resolution detail
RESOLVED to RECOMMEND (subject to the Legal Department signing the report):
That the revised informal trading plan for Ward 64, Fish Hoek be supported subject to the following inclusions:

The size of the informal trading bays in Fish Hoek Main Road should be no bigger than 2mx2m on pavement in Main Road, as per policy;

The goods of informal traders should not be placed on the ground but be displayed on a table;

The total height of the informal stand should not exceed 1.5m so that it does not obstruct the visibility of the shops;

The packaging, transport and the storage containers of informal traders should be out of the line of sight;

Removal of the shipping containers and for the decentralization of the informal traders;
-
The informal traders should dispose of their own rubbish and that all the waste generated during day should be removed by the end of the day;
-
No open flames to be allowed in public by food traders and vendor should be encouraged to pre-cook their food at home;
-
If a vendor cooks on site, a food truck is a requirement (similar to the existing coffee vendors).
