Mr Magwayi informed the members that the purpose of the report to advise Subcouncil 11 that a Business Licence application has been received and processed for Health and Entertainment: Devices – Business premises with three or more electronic machines, at the above mentioned premises and to seek the approval of Subcouncil 11 for authority to issue the Licence.
Cllr Cassiem informed members of the following challenges, traffic congestion, infringement of parking space, antisocial behavior, influx of prostitution, hotspot for drugs and a killing that took place. He proposed that the Department send application to TDA, SAPS report missing and include comments from Civic organizations, Ward Committee and Community in the neighborhood of the premises which applied.

The members recommended that the report be DEFERRED subject to additional information be submitted such as SAPS report, TDA report, comments from Civic organizations, Ward Committee members and Community in the neighborhood of the premises which applied.
