RESOLVED unanimously by Subcouncil 2
 

1. That the renewal application for the extension of Liquor Trading   Hours from 18:00 to 20:00, Mondays to Saturdays for off-consumption premises in respect of Tops at Protea Heights (Reference No.185771) Ward 102: 70 Brighton Road BE APPROVED as the premises is situated in a business zone.
2. That the concerns of the ward councillor in terms of the behaviour of the clients be communicated to the applicant as his clients are purchasing liquor from his shop using Joubert Street’s sidewalks to drink liquor.
3. That the Subcouncil 2 Office send a letter to the applicant, Picardi  Rebel Liquors Kraaifontein informing them of the Subcouncil decision and alert the liquor board that the Subcouncil already received complaints about the behaviour of the its patrons which liquor board that the Subcouncil already received complaints about the behaviour of the clients which they are responsible for and that this renewal would be retracted if future complaints are
4. That no cheap wine “papsakke” be sold to the patrons.
