23SUB8/8/2020: Cllr Jansen reported that the last response received was that the MEC committed to a site inspection to the area which will form part of a broader ministerial program.  He advised that he is still awaiting the minister to forward a proposed date.

Can you advise when the engagement with Mitchell’s Plain councillors and Minister Simmers will take place as I have a few issues that I need an update on.
 
SIQALO
-       Update on where we are with Siqalo in relation with the Kosovo/Southern Corridor Project.  A commitment was to include Siqalo in this project.
-       We need time frames etc.
-       The Socio-Economic Report dated 29 April 2019 which was done by VPUU
 PHA
 
-       I was informed by Thabiso from HDA of the various pockets of land that was purchased by WCG which is managed by HDA.
-       I need to know what the plan is for the Informal Settlements in the PHA and how they will be included in the plans.
-       We need to start communicating a timeframe to the informal settlement dwellers and engage with them regularly to avoid unneccessarty protest action especially in the PHA.

-       Is there any plans for the informal settlement dwellers in Samora Machel
