Mr. Daniels mentioned that the purpose of the report is to seek support to the Subcouncil to recommend the establishment of the task team in terms of delegations 11, this report was for noting and for the Subcouncil to be updated on the progress of the task team.

Mr. Daniels added that the legal compliance department indicated that for the approval of an Adhoc task team a separate report focusing on terms of reference and establishment of task team has to be submitted

Mr. Daniels explained that a community member from Gugulethu submitted a proposal for Gugulethu clinic in NY77, the proposal included a road closure. He indicated that the roads department has supported the proposal and issued a permit. In implementing the permit, it was recommended that the COCT facility in NY3 should be included.

Cllr Yozi wanted to find out the number of volunteers needed to assist in this project.

Mr. Daniels indicated that the Subcouncil has the authority to appoint a chairperson from amongst its members. He indicated that in a meeting held with the chairperson they recommended for the Ward 41 Cllr to be the chairperson of the Adhoc task team, he added that a PR councilor or a Councillor who serves in the health portfolio committee may also volunteer to assist in the project.

Cllr Yozi recommended for Cllr Bafo to assist in the task team.

That the Report BE NOTED with the endorsement for Cllr Manata as chairperson of the task team and the recommendation that Cllr Bafo assist in the task team.
