That the number of request(s) and outcome of assessments for the period September 2020 BE APPROVED AS FOLLOWS :

WARD 21: Bokmakierie Street, Sonstraal (TNDN3049) - Request traffic calming measures required from 27 Bokmakierie Street to 50 Bokmakierie Street.
That 2x speed humps BE APPROVED:

One in the vicinity of the school on the schools programme

One at 33/35 Bokmakierie to be placed on the waiting list for ward allocation funding
-
That the locality plan be forwarded to Subcouncil.

WARD 21: Hebron Street, Eversdal (TNDN2611) – Request for traffic calming (speed humps and raised intersection)
That traffic calming BE APPROVED, to be implemented incrementally based on the impact being monitored after the installation of the first one :

1 x speedhump and 1 x raised pedestrian crossing on the schools programme

1 x speedhump to be placed on the waiting list for ward allocation funding

WARD 103: Verdi Boulevard, Sonstraal Heights (TNDN) – Request for traffic calming (Speed humps)
That a site meeting BE SCHEDULED and the matter again serve on 16 November 2020.

WARD 105: De Keur Avenue, Proteaville (cnr Herta Erna & De Keur and cnr Florida & de Keur Streets) (TNDN 2622 (Herta Erna)) – Request for traffic calming

That a site visit be arranged to look at the possibility of implementing a 3 way stop as there is only one stop street at present at this intersection.

That the resolution of the Subcouncil w r t the pruning of trees for visibility and a mirror be implemented as a matter of urgency.

WARD 21: KENDAL / DURBAN ROAD INTERSECTION. – Request speed camera.
That the outcome of the Camera Review Committee decision BE OBTAINED.

That the planned schools programme for traffic calming measures BE SUBMITTED to the next Subcouncil meeting

That the item BE REMOVED from the MRA schedule subject to the issue of the requested camera on Koeberg / Adderley Rd access to Durbanville being placed on the Subcouncil Dashboard and monitored for response in terms of reasons for non-approval or reconsideration of the request at the first available opportunity.
