Mr Daniels introduced the report on Traffic Calming Measures implemented during 2019/20 Financial Year and approved for implementation during
2020/21 Financial Year in Subcouncil 14.
 
Cllrs raised that the report shows street names not in the respective wards. That the Departmnt spends ward allocation funding on project it identifies. The Department should put its own funding into traffic calming measures it identifies.
 
Cllr Ngxumza indicated that the Ward Allocation funding was intended to be spent on NY 1/Steve Biko after a family
 
The official explained that the ward number is important. The office system covers a wider area and the staff member responsible is on leave until 28 September 2020
 
RESOLVED
 
That the report on Traffic Calming Measures implemented during 2019/20 Financial Year and approved for implementation during 2020/21 Financial Year in Subcouncil 14
 
That a site visit be held in ward 42 regarding the Ward Allocation Project for the 2020/21 Financial Year
