RESOLVED

That the application for a Business Licence for Health and Entertainment: Devices: Business Premises with three or more Electronic Machines: Erf 26105, 319 Voortrekker Road, Goodwood 7460, Gophers BE APPROVED, subject inter alia to following conditions, that;
 
a)         This business licence must be prominently displayed in a conspicuous place in or on the premises so as to be visible to patrons, the
             public and Council officials at all times.
b)         The business licence is not transferable form person to person or from business to business.
c)         The premises must comply with the requirements of the Tobacco Products Control Act, Act 83 of 1993 at all times.
d)         The Director: City Health reserves the right to call for any other requirements that may be deemed necessary.
e)         The approval of this licence does not exempt the holder from compliance with any other licences, conditions or statutory requirements.
f)          The premises must comply with the requirements of the Western Cape Noise Control Regulations, P.N. of 2013.
g)         Authority be granted to the Head: Environmental Health to sogn and ussue the necessary licence in 6.1 above.
h)         Should smoking be permitted the premises must comply with the requirements of the Notice relating to Smoking of Tobacco Products
             in Public Places, in terms of the Government Health Notice; Regulation 975 dated 29 September 2000.
i)           Should complaints regarding noise emanating from the premises be received, the Council reserves the right to withdraw any approval 
             granted in terms of this license application. It must be noted that at no time a noise nuisance or disturbing noise may be created, as
             defines by the Western Cape Noise Control Regulations (P.N. 200 of 2013).
 
The Official, Andy Lucas, seeked permission by the Chairperson to be excused from the meeting, the request  was granted.
