RESOLVED 

1.  That Wolfgat Subcouncil 12 NOTES the Proposed Grantingof In-Principle Approval for the Sale by Public Competition of Erf 30336 Mitchells Plain, Situated at No. 100 Peugeot Crescent, Beacon Valley, Zoned Community 2: Regional as per the following recommendations:

a.  In terms of sections 14(2)(a) and (b) of the LocalGovernment: Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Act 56 of 2003:

i)  Council resolve that Erf 30336, situated at No. 100 Beacon Valley, Mitchells Plain, approximately 2 005m² in total, zoned Community 2: Regional, shown lettered ABCDEFGHJ on the attached Disposal Plans (Annexure A), is not required for the provision of the minimum level
of basic municipal services;

ii) Council confirm that the fair market value of the asset described in (a)(i) and the economic and community value to be received in exchange for the asset described  in (a) (i) have been considered;

b.  In terms of regulation 5(1)(b) of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations (MATR), R. 878 promulgated on 22 August 2008, Council approve in principle the sale of Erf 30336 Peugeot Crescent, Mitchells Plain.

c.  Council resolve that Erf 30336 Mitchells Plain, situated at No. 100 Peugeot Crescent, Beacon Valley be sold by public competition, subject to conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in the exercise of her delegated authority.
