That the proposed lease of vacant Erf 6099 & 6104, situated at 44 and 34 Bonatea Road, Klein Vlei, for residential purposes, BE SUPPORTED as per the recommendations:

In terms of section 14(2)(a) and (b) of the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Act 56 of 2003:

Council resolve that Erven 6099 and 6104, situated at 44 and 34 Bonatea Road, Klein Vlei in extent approximately 204 m² and 203 m², zoned Single Residential 1, shown lettered ABCD on the attached Plans LIS 2098 and LIS 2099 (Annexure A1 & A2), not be required for the provision of the minimum level of basic municipal services;

Council confirm that the desktop market value of the assets described in (a)(i) and the economic and community value to be received in exchange for the assets described in(a)(i) have been considered.

In terms of Regulation 5(1)(b) of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations (MATR), R.878 promulgated on 22 August 2008, Council approve in principle the transfer of Erven 6099 and 6104, Klein Vlei as described in (a)(i);

Erf 6099 and 6104, Klein Vlei be transferred by way of public competition, subject to conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in the exercise of her delegated authority.
