RESOLVED:

That the report be amended to reflect the correct ward, that is Ward 16 and not Ward 17.

That the proposed lease of vacant Erf 835 situated at 21 Margot Street, Eersteriver for Residential Purposes, BE SUPPORTED as per the recommendations:

In terms of section 14(2)(a) and (b) of the Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA), Act 56 of 2003:

Council resolve that Erf 835, situated at 21 Margot Street, Eerste River, measuring approximately 732 m² in extent, shown lettered ABCD on the attached Disposal Plan: LIS2169 not be required for the provision of the minimum level of basic municipal services;

Council confirm that the fair market value of the asset described in (a)(i) and the economic and community value to be received in exchange for the assets described in (a)(i) have been considered;

In terms of Regulation 5(1)(b) of the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations(MATR), R.878 promulgated on 22 August 2008, Council approve in-principle the transfer of Erf 835, Eerste River as described in (a)(i);

Erf 835, Eerste River be transferred by public competition, subject to conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in the exercise of her delegated authority.
