Resolution detail

The Chairperson expressed his appreciation to all the councillors and staff for their assistance during the lockdown period.  He further said that Solid Waste experienced a lot of challenges during the lockdown period and a press release was circulated to all the organisations registered on the Subcouncils’ community organisations database.  He reported that the Area Economic Department issued over 350 permits to informal traders.  He further gave an update as to the status of the food relief programme which will commence soon.
