PROGRESSIVE CAPITAL EXPENDITURE: MAY 2020

The Subcouncil, Manager informed the members of the Subcouncil that a number of Ward Allocation Projects are on track however the Subcouncil will follow with SDECD Project no WPX .0011558, WPX.0011669. The Subcouncil will deal with the following 2 projects WPX.0011992 and WPX.0012121.

The Capital Ward Allocation projects for upgrading of parks and Conceptual design projects within the Subcouncil is reflecting big amounts of commitments and the Subcouncil has continuously liaised with City Parks and Sports and Recreation to ensure maximum expenditure in all the projects.
The Project Managers from City Parks has confirmed to the Subcouncil that due to Covid-19 epidemic delays were experienced in implementation, however the contractors are on site and the department will ensure maximum spending on all the projects.
