PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE 2017/2022 INTERGRATED DEVELOPMENT PLAN (IDP) - 2019/2020 CORPORATE AND ENTITIES SCORECARDS, AS A RESULT OF THE YEAR – END ADJUSTMENT BUDGET.
The Subcouncil Manager informed the members that the purpose of the report is to inform Subcouncils of the public comment period for the proposed amendments to the 2017-2020 IDP (2019/2020) Corporate and Entities Scorecards, as a result of the year – end adjustment budget as approved by Council on the 27th May 2020.

The members of the Subcouncil made the following comments

Continuously Subcouncils submit comments raising community needs which are continuously changing and projects designed by the City do not always address all the issues year after year.

Safety lays the foundation for all service delivery issues and the sub council propose safety projects and programmes to address the high levels of crime within all the areas within the sub council, i.e. Manenberg, Hanover Park, Gugulethu and Heideveld.

There should be clear re-alignment between the comments and issues raised during IDP consultation process and output projects be designed to address those issues in order for the IDP process to add value to community needs.
