Resolution detail
It is recommended that a portion of Erf 8990 Kraaifontein, bounded by Tanner Road, Tiger Avenue and Grant Road, Windsor Park, Kraaifontein, approximately 3271m2 in extent and as indicated as ABCDE on Plan TA 1011v0 attached as Annexure “A”, be reserved for the Asset Management & Maintenance Department within the Transport Directorate, subject to the following conditions:

That the subject property be utilized for a public parking area

The Asset Management & Maintenance Department take responsibility for compliance with any related land use and/orother legislation, where applicable;

The said Department accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and any structure erected or to be erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;

That all costs related to the above be sourced for by the Asset Management & Maintenance Department; and
-
The Department takes cognizance of, and adheres to any applicable internal branch comments and conditions listedunder Paragraph 9 below.
Additional Comment:

That the content of the report on the Reservation of Portion of Erf 8990 Kraaifontein: Transport Directorate (Asset Management and Maintenance) DEFERRED pending further feedback on the inclusion of the reservation of the entire public open space for public parking at the next Subcouncil 2 meeting.
