Goodman Rorwana reported on the double occupancy which Susan Groenewald presented last month around the land invasion and that the City had plans to relocate those people and to give the current people the title deeds which did not happen because the site which was earmarked was invaded. Up until those land invasions has been sorted out these items will still remain.
Cllr Ngwekazi stated that he made other plans with this item where the current project that is taking place in Enkanini, there is a piece of land that was availed to the project and have applied to the Project Management to include those areas to that project. He would also like the Subcouncil to assist him in writing and to give support so that these people can be accommodated in the project as well because there is enough space.
The Chairperson stated that Cllr Ngwekazi bring a formal motion to the Subcouncil around the new site and that he remove this motion as it has fallen away.
Cllr Ngwekazi agreed to remove this item.
RESOLVED That the item be
REMOVED from the MRA’s and that Cllr Ngwekazi bring a new motion around the new site.
