Not Delegated: For Decision: The Director: Property Management
It was RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that the lease of portion of public street, being a portion of erf 2252 Pinelands situated off Cedar Avenue, Pinelands, shown hatched and lettered ABCDE on sketch STC 2432v0, marked annexure A, attached to the report, in extent approximately 1150 m2, to the Boy Scouts of South Africa (Cape Western Division) or their successor(s) in title, be approved subject to inter alia the following conditions:

A tariff rental of R920.00 per annum excluding VAT calculated at the rate applicable at the time of transaction be payable. Rates not applicable.

The lease will endure for a period of ten years;

The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council;

The property be used for scouting purposes only;

Subject to further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;

Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;
-
No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property.
