It was RESOLVED to RECOMMEND that a portion of erf 15245 Cape Town and measuring approximately 18 m² in extent, indicated as ABCD on Plan STC 3148, marked as annexure A, attached to the report, be reserved for the Electricity Generation and Distribution Department, subject to the following conditions:

1. The subject property shall be utilised for the purposes of an Electricity Substation only;
2. That the Electricity Generation and Distribution Department:

1. Takes responsibility for the required land use processes, as well as compliance with related legislation;
2. Accepts full responsibility for the management and maintenance of the land and any structure to be erected thereon, including maintenance, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable;

3. All costs related to the reservation shall be for the account of the Energy and Climate Change Directorate
