Subcouncil 22 recommends that the application for extension of liquor trading hours from 11:00 to 18:00 on Sunday for off –consumption premises in respect of Papa Joe’s Liquorshop; NOT BE SUPPORTED for the following reasons:
1. The area is a crime hotspot / prone to shooting incident
2. There is a creche / educare centre in the area
3. The ANC did not support the application
