RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND

That Subcouncil 7 NOTE and SUPPORT the outcome of the public participation process IN FAVOUR of the following:

Left-turn only exit at Waterbok North
-
Construction of an island with appropriate kerbing and signage
-
No entry into Waterbok North
-
Two-way traffic flow in the remainder of Waterbok Crescent
-
That it BE RECOMMENDED that the construction of the island and erection of signage be prioritised and implemented simultaneously as a matter of urgency, preferably before 30 June 2020.

That it also BE NOTED that the Signage Tender is currently in its appeal phase, which may delay the implementation of the project.

That Subcouncil’s input be submitted to the next General Appeals Committee meeting.
