Ms P Jansen informed the meeting that Ms S Nanabhay reported that she will only be able to submit a report to the February 2020 Subcouncil meeting.
RESOLVED that
That the item remains on the Matters Receiving Attention until resolved;
That a formal report on the Status Quo of the Informal Trading in Area Central be submitted to the February 2020 Subcouncil meeting.

RESOLVED that the report on the Status Quo of Informal Trading in Area Central BE REFERRED back to the Area Central Department in order to address the comments raised in respect of the report.

Ms S Nanabhay provided verbal feedback on the Status Quo of Informal Trading in Area Central. A formal report will be submitted once it is signed.
Cllr Kleinsmith asked what is a concession letter.
Ms Nanabhay explained that concession letters are issued where there are no informal trading plans and it usually has an expiry date on. No concession letters may be issued for the Bellville CBD area.
Cllr B van der Merwe requested that a meeting be arranged to discuss the review of the Ward 3 Trading Plan.
