RESOLVED that,
-
The Masiphumelele Entrance Informal Trading be regarded as a MURP project.
-
the urban design concept and trading plan process be initiated (OPEX to be undertaken in the current financial year).

the PPM process be started to put money on the CAPEX Budget to undertake the hard surfacing and works identified as part of the urban design work for the next financial year (per the City Manager’s instruction, as the department was unable to do this in the current financial year.

Exploring with Roads (and Subcouncil assistance) to temporarily compact the existing trading areas and relocating the containers so that it enhanced the space.

To identify specific areas that the Subcouncil wanted to address and to arrange for that directly with the Ward Councillor and AED.
