Resolution detail

RECOMMENDED that,
 
Erf 162904 Cape Town, situated at 10 Margate Road, Muizenberg, in extent 1,1268 hectares and as indicated as ABCDEF on Sketch Plan LT 1650v1, attached as Annexure “A”, be reserved for the Facilities Management Department, subject to the following conditions:
 

1. The subject property shall be utilised by the Safety and Security Department (Training and Development Branch) for purposes of office accommodation, a Training Academy and purposes ancillary thereto;

2. In view of the facility being secured for the benefit of the Safety and Security Department, such asset user shall provide sufficient funding to Facilities Management for rezoning and/or any other land use processes, as required, as well as for compliance with any related legislation and Statutory requirements;

3. Facilities Management has agreed to a reservation application for the benefit of the Safety and Security Department provided that sufficient funding be made available by such asset user to Facilities Management to operate, manage and maintain the property and structures on the facility, inclusive of resources, labor, equipment, general operating expenses, including maintenance costs, utility consumption, security and content insurance, as is applicable. A Management/Service Level Agreement may govern this relationship;

4. That all costs related to the above be provided for by the asset user, being the Safety and Security Department.
