It be NOTED that an application for a liquor licence received from WATERGAT STRAND REF. NO. LLA 19060001 was considered in terms of the Western Cape Liqour Act, 2008, as amended:
Subcouncil 8 recommends that the application received from G van Schalkwyk Moolman for the Watergat Strand PTY (LTD), reference number E19070008 NOT BE SUPPORTED:

Consent use application for Sale of Alcoholic Beverages and Place of Entertainment need to be submitted to Development Management Department;

There is no approved fire protection plans for this building and this building does not comply with the fire safety requirements as per the National Building Regulations – SANS 10400-T:2011:
There must be an approved fire protection plan for the building / structure – and all the fire safety requirements as per this approved fire protection plan for the building / structure shall be implemented.
