That the Application for the Extension of Liquor Trading Hours from 11:00 to 18:00 Sunday Trading for Off-Consumption premises in respect of: The Riviera Liquor Store, Erf 9684, 20 Halt Road, Elsies River, Licence Reference Number WCP P/033370 – Ward 26 BE DEFERRED pending a detailed SAPS Report with specific reference to criminal activities in the immediate vicinity of the premises.
Cllr Franchesca Walker recommended that the Subcouncil resolve to approve the proposed trading hours from;
-
12:00 to 17:00 instead of 11:00 to 18:00; and
-
that a security service which must include a uniformed officer be placed on the premises during the operation of business hours.
