RESOLVED unanimously by Subcouncil 22 that:
SubCouncil 22 recommends that the application for a a Consumption ON Premises Liquor Licence, reference no. LLA19040016, for the business Fanatics Sport Pub, Erf 153, Units 3,4,5 and 6 Eersteriver Shopping Centre, No 16, Forest Drive, Eersteriver; BE NOT SUPPORTED for the following reasons:
The close proximity to sensitive facility namely; ECD centre direct.opposite this establishment and A Church in a street at the back of the premises.

This is a crime ridden area and therefore the social economic factors of establishing of this liquor outlet will make it deteriorate.

SAPS did not submit required comment to Subcouncil office as required. However they advised that they will submit their report directly to the Western Cape Liquor Board.
