That it be noted that an application for a liquor licence received from The Blue Note was considered in terms of sub delegated authority and that the following recommendation was forwarded to the Liquor Authority in terms of the Western Cape Liquor Act, 2008, as amended:

Subcouncil 21 recommends that the application for a consumption ON Premises Liquor Licence, reference no LLA19040001, for the business The Blue Note BE CONDITIONALLY SUPPORTED for the following reasons:
That the comments received from Fire Services be adhered to and the following needs to be rectified and submitted to Fire Services:

There are deviations from the approved Fire Plan, BP70346394.

Firefighting equipment was found not to be the recommended type and size.

The fire detection system was found not to be operational.

A LPG installation that does not comply with the minimum requirements was found on the premises.
