RESOLVED
 
Subcouncil 6 noted and recommended to the Director: Property Management the following:
 
That the lease of a portion of City Land, being a portion of the remainder of Erf 12756, Bellville, situated at Isotope Street, Triangle Farm, Bellville and as shown hatched and lettered ABCD on the Plan No TA 755v1 attached and marked Annexure A attached to the report, in extent approximately 1771m², to Beekman Beleggings Bellville 12757 CC or its successor in the title, be approved subject inter alia to the following conditions that:
 
 
  1. A market rental of R10 500 per month exclusive of VAT and inclusive of rates be payable;
  2. The lease will endure for a period of 10 years, subject to a review of the rental after a period of 5 years;
  3. The monthly rental is to be adjusted on the basis of 8% per annum compounded annually on a pro rata basis commencing 6 months from date of this valuation. Accordingly, the above recommended rental is to be adjusted as from 2019-02-01;
  4. The property be used for parking of trucks and trailers only;
  5. Subject to such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority;
  6. Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements;
  7. No compensation will be payable for any improvements made to the property;
  8. No structures may be erected on the property.
