He stated:
-
Clean audit report.
-
Tax exemption status remains intact.
-
Contingent liability for long range CCTV cameras is reflected in the financial statements for R950000.00. Due to functionality not being delivered, payment was delayed to a year later. The purchase price was financed by an operational rental.
-
Had a surplus and rolled it over to the 2018/19 projects.
-
The 2018/19 budget was ratified by the members at the AGM.
Questions:
-
Water resilience projects: are you sharing it with other areas?
-
Do residents still engage with private security or do they rely on the SRA’s?
-
What security service does Llandudno SRA provide?
Mr Pearce responded:
-
Set up a water projects subcommittee and requested assistance from the City. Also engaged the community for their views and how to fund these projects.
-
ADT and other companies supply additional security to residents.
-
We have installed a fairly detailed set of cameras and sensors as an early warning system. We also have an armed response unit which operates daily.
