Ms Savahl informed the members that the purpose of the report is to make Subcouncil aware of the current Public Participation process on proposed Amendments to the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By – Law, 2015. In terms of section 17 the Local Government Municipality Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, the public and interested parties or groups are given opportunity to submit comments, recommendations or input to the municipality from 1 March 2019 to 1 April 2019. Comments can be forwarded directly to E-mail: lums @capetown.gov.za/Website:www.capetown.gov.za/haveyoursay . RESOLVED The Subcouncil members NOTED the advertising of the proposed amendments to the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By – Law, 2015 (MPBL) and agreed that comments be submitted Nathan.fisher@capetown.gov.za / Zandile.
