• Ward 47: Boxing Tournament for youth scheduled on the 20-21 October 2018 at Princess vlei. • Ward 47: Lulaway employment drive scheduled on the 23-24 October 2018 at Hanover Park Civic. • Ward 44: Cape Mental Health kite festival scheduled on the 24 October 2018 @ Heideveld Sport Field • Ward 44: Held successful Cancer Awareness Drive in the ward on the 11 October 2018. • Ward 44: NHBW held public participation drive with community on the 15 October 2018to address concerns and issues in the ward. • Ward 44: University of Chicago will be scheduling programs in the ward during December 2018 and youth are encouraged to register in order to compete for the Councillors cup. • Ward 40/44 and 46 to schedule a date and venue Lulaway employment drive in the future. • Ward 44: Capacity building event for youth @ Zandvlei scheduled on the 27 October 2018 • Ward 47: Capacity building event was held on the 27 September 2018 at Rehobooth Old Age Home Hanover Park. • Mr A Abrahams of SDEDC will be scheduling Basic Computer Skills training @ Strand Street Cape Town and Bellville scheduled on the 29 /10/2018 and 21/11/2018.
