The Subcouncil Manager informed the members of capital transport projects currently under construction, or planned for implementation within Hanover Park, Manenberg, Heideveld, Lansdown and Pinati Estate including ward 40 concrete roads project. • The Subcouncil Manager informed the members that a meeting is scheduled on 15 August 2018 with ward 40 Cllr Ngcombolo, Line officials, contractor and community to finalise the challenges. Cllr Nqavashe will investigate work that has been done. • Cllr Moses said that investigation should be done on contractors that have similar projects in a particular ward. He said that every contractor have a bill of quantity and Line officials will have to take up the concerns and allegations e.g. look at the documents of the contracts, contractors quote on machinery and manipulate the process by using machinery at other sites. • Cllr Moses said that he discussed the Local employer suppliers and CLO position. • Cllr Antonio van der Rheede said under R30 000 to be utilised and flag laddies need to be trained in compliance to Occupational Health and Safety standards.
