 15/4/19: On 28/3/19 Full Council approved the HPOZ for Bo-Kaap.
18/03/19:  Cllrs Golding, Bryant and Hadebe and strongly recommended the approval of the Heritage Protection Overlay Zoning for Bo-Kaap. See item:6 SUB 13/03/19
18/02/19:  Mr Coetsee reported that period for public comment would end on 22 February, where after a report would serve at the Subcouncil.
9/1/19: Public Participation Process will start on 15 January and will be completed on 22 February 2019.A report will be submitted to 18 March Subcouncil 16 meeting.
15/10/18:  Resolved that Director Ossie Asmal be invited to attend the next Subcouncil meeting to explain the legal challenges.
Email from Mr Ossie Osmal d/d 11/10/18 - This matter and legal action against the City by the Legal Resources Centre is receiving legal attention. The submission of the report to the Sub-Council can only be finalised after we have finalised this legal input.
17/09/18:  As per Mr Clive James – The draft report is done and was sent to our Director yesterday, and he said he will speak to Marius and Councillor Bryant as there are matters that Ossie needs to discuss with Land Use and the Commissioner: TDA who the Motion is addressing directly. Remains outstanding.
14/08/18:  It was advised that this matter was with Mayco. Remains outstanding.

18/06/18: UANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that Directorate, Transport Development Authority urgently implement the HPOZ for the Bo-Kaap area and give specific reasons for the two-year delay.
