The Simon’s town taxi rank review will form part of the PTI programme. The appointment of the Consultants is not finalised yet.
Once finalised a the feasibility study is required to assess the viability, and to identify the appropriate intervention needed for a possible taxi facility in Simon’s Town.

The Simon’s town taxi rank review will form part of the PTI programme. The appointment of the Panel Consultants are not finalised. A section 33 process will follow, to extend the Consultant appointment beyond three years.

The MAYCO member, Alderman Felicity Purchase informed that the taxi rank for Simon’s Town would form part of the review for public transport interchanges (PTI) across the City.
It was RESOLVED that this item could be removed from the matters receiving list.
