It is recommended that the lease of portion of public open space, being a portion of Erf 1295, Parklands situated at 21A Queens Close, shown hatched and lettered ABCD on the attached sketch No TA 533v0 marked annexure A, in extent approximately 518m², to Mishje Cooper Holdings (Pty) Ltd trading as ZooZoo Land Educare represented by acting principal the owner of Erf 1299, Parklands or his successors in title, be approved subject to inter alia the following conditions, that: A) A market related rental of R3000.00 per month excluding VAT of 14% where applicable, being R420.00 (in total – R3420.00) be payable; B) The lease will run for a period of ten years; C) The rental will be adjusted annually in terms of the rental tariff structure as approved by Council; D) The property be used for play area purposes only; E) Subject so such further conditions to be imposed by the Director: Property Management in terms of her delegated authority; F) Subject to compliance with any other statutory requirements; G) No compensation will be payable for any improvement made to the property; H) The branch comments stipulated in section 5.2 also forms part of these conditions. FURTHER RESOLVED I) That Mr Martin Witbooi be tasked with amending bullet point H under the recommendations to read Section 5.2 and not Section 4.2 as stipulated in the report.
