Your below mail has reference. Please be advised that the dwelling you mention is owned by National Department of Public Works and we are aware of the current situation.
Due to the severity of the condition of the property, this Department is reluctant to let the property to interested parties. Our head office has been consulted and we await their advise on the way forward and the future of this property. There have been expressions of interest from various community organisations but due to changing processes, it is impossible to enter into any negotiation, we unfortunately have no alternative but to wait for further guidance.

• Cllr Isaacs reported that the City has done what he could which is to enclose the property and suggested that the item be removed from the MRA’s.
RESOLVED
That the item be REMOVED from the MRA’s as the City has done what he could and that was to enclose the property.
