14/02/17: Email from applicant d/d 27/01/17: Withdrawal of Application for Consent and Departures: Erf 1799 Camps Bay (CASE ID 70158467) I have been instructed by my Client to withdraw the abovementioned application. This e-mail serves as notification to the Council that I hereby withdraw the application ref. Case ID 70158467. 16/01/17: Mr Greg September briefed the meeting as to the report. An interview was granted to both applicant and objector. The objector: Mr Chris Willemse on behalf of Camps Bay Ratepayers and Residents Association motivated his objection with a written presentation. See Addendum D. The applicant, Ms Cherie Campbell, on behalf of Tommy Brümmer Planners, motivated the application with a power point presentation See Addendum E. UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that: a) Mr September submit a supplemental report to the 14 February meeting as to the alleged flawed procedures followed regarding the advertising of the removal of restrictions by the Provincial Minister, and the impact a High Court review thereof might have on the application for Council’s consent and departures for Erf 1799 b) the application for permanent departures for Erf 1799, Hoopoe Avenue Camps Bay, BE DEFERRED to the next meeting to allow an on-site inspection.
