RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that:

The application for consent use in respect of Erf 6377, Bellville to permit the operation of a 4-bedroom guest house BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
Additional Condition

2.1.9 Landscaping
2.1.9.1 That a landscaping plan be submitted for approval by the authorised official, showing vegetation on the property frontage and on the road verge in order to soften the impact on the streetscape. The approved Landscaping plan shall be implemented prior to occupation.

REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons in the Planner’s report and corrected the spelling of the word “proposal“ in reason 7.1.5

7.1.5 The proposal complies with the desirability criteria as set out in Section 99(3) of the MPBL, 2015.
