UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. The application for subdivision of Portion 3 of Cape Farm Welgemoed No. 1065 into Portion A (±7,13ha) and Remainder Portion B (±14,4ha) BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 (as amended) in accordance with plan no. mxd 18.161 prosub 1, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A;

b. The application for rezoning of the unregistered portion A, a portion of Portion 3 of Cape Farm Welgemoed No. 1065 from Agricultural to Mixed Use Subzoning MU2 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 (as amended), subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A;

c. City approval to allow for development within Koeberg Restriction Area Overlay Zoning on Portion A, a portion of Portion 3 of Cape Farm Welgemoed No. 1065 BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98(b) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 (as amended), subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A

d. The proposed site development plan for Portion A, a portion of Portion 3 of Cape Farm Welgemoed No. 1065 BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98(c) of the Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 (as amended).

REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT partially APPROVED and partially REFUSED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report
