UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED that:
a. An administrative penalty in the amount of R 5 000.00 BE DETERMINED for the unauthorized land use/s (liquor outlet and house shop) in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in respect of Erf 1356, 27 Franschhoek Road, Greenfields, Gaylee.
b. An administrative penalty in the amount of R 5 000.00 BE DETERMINED for the unauthorized building work in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015, in respect of Erf 1356, 27 Franschhoek Road, Greenfields, Gaylee.
REASONS FOR DECISION
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s Report and agreed to add new reason 6.9 as follows:
The unauthorized building work has a huge negative impact on the residential area, which warrants a larger penalty.
