RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that:
a. The application for the temporary land use departure in terms of section 42(c) to permit a mobile scrapyard on a portion of Erf 5154, Matroosfontein BE REFUSED in terms of Section 98 (c) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015.
b. The application for consent use to permit a house shop on Erf 5154, Matroosfontein BE APPROVED in terms of Section 98 (b) of the Municipal Planning By-law, 2015, subject to the conditions contained in Annexure A.
CONDITION 2.1.2 IS AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
2.1.2. That the use hereby permitted shall only operate between Mondays to Sundays from 07:00 to 21:00.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT partially REFUSED and partially APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the Planner’s report
