RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY:
That an administrative penalty of R500.00 for the unauthorised building work BE DETERMINED in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of Erf 1017 Tamboerskloof.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out below
1. There was negligence on the part of the owner not submitting a formal application for approval of the structures.
2. The extent is minor and given its location on the property is not highly visible neighbouring erven. The owner has co-operated when required.
