RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY:
That an administrative penalty of R 1000.00 BE DETERMINED, in terms of Section 129 of the City of Cape Town Municipal Planning By-Law, 2015 in respect of the unauthorised loft room on Erf 2165 Green Point.
REASONS FOR DECISION:
The MPT APPROVED the application for the reasons set out in the planner’s report and amended reason 6.2 that reads as follows:
6.2 The extent of the contravention (9.1m2) is not large and internal to the building and warrants a lower penalty.
